School Photographs |
This page started with a single
photograph and has grown rapidly as Old Poundswickians the world over have rummaged through their attics for ancient prints. We now have so many that trying to cram them all on to a single page has resulted in download times that give you time to cook a four-course meal while you wait for them. So I've had to re-think the way this page is laid out. It now comprises a list of photos and you can go to any photo on the list by clicking on it. Couldn't be simpler. Clicking on a photo opens a new window on your browser, so to return to the list, just close the new window. I fear that the downside of this new format is that you will be tempted to look only at photographs that you and your mates might be on. That would be a shame. Collectively, these photos give a continuous picture of how Poundswick developed over its 43 years. Do take the trouble to look at some of the photos that are not of your era; I'm sure you will be well rewarded. The list is in chronological order and, to help with identification, I have included the names of members of staff who appear in each photo. A hash symbol (#) after an entry indicates a recent addition to this page. |

If you have any photos to add to this page, please get in touch. As you can see, we are very short of photographs from the later years, so these would be particularly appreciated. Please send whatever you have! |
