The end of Poundswick!

| The end didn't come quickly. The
bulldozers first appeared in February 2009 and the last vestiges of the
original Poundswick buildings didn't disappear until December 2010. I
have therefore chronicled Poundswick's destruction on four separate pages,
one page for each significant phase of the demolition. Links to these
pages are given below. I warn you that they contain some very sad
photographs so I'd recommend kitting yourself out with a box of paper
hankies and a stiff whisky before you embark . . . . .
