| I never saw this play. It was performed in March 1968, some years after I'd left Poundswick. I don't have a programme for it but thanks to Dennis Preston we do have this lovely write-up by Hilary Gilman which appeared in the November 1968 edition of ARGO. In this short article Hilary captures it all: the joy of the rehearsals, the terror of the opening night and the exultation when it eventually all comes together. |
